The total flight time is planned at being approximately 1.5 hours, split into two exciting segments. The first at approximately 1 hour long, will take you across the majestic coastline of Riverton, Colac Bay, Te Waewae Bay, the Humpridge Track, Lakes Poteriteri & Hauroko, a sample of Fiordlands fourteen fiords including Preservation Inlet, Dusky & Doubtful Sounds. You will then carry on to the famous hydroelectric sites at Deep Cove & West Arm, Lake Manapouri and then land at Manapouri Airport where you will enjoy delicious nibbles or a drink. After a 45-minute stop on the ground, the tour will continue flying over the Takitimu Mountains, around the mining towns of Ohai & Nightcaps, before concluding over the Southland plains into Invercargill. The total excursion time is 2.5 hours. Please be aware that we reserve the right to alter the flight details due to weather conditions.
