Begin your day with an unforgettable early morning flight over some of New Zealand’s most remote alpine terrain, usually seen only by experienced mountaineers.

Take in at least five major glaciers, including Rob Roy, Tyndall, Bonar, Dart, Whitbourn, Olivine, and Donne, along with the iconic Milford Sound.

Climb north through Shotover Canyon and over Lochnagar, enroute past Mt Aspiring, the tallest peak outside the Aoraki/Mt Cook region (3,030m).

Track west through ‘Glacier Alley’ featuring the stunning Olivine Ice Plateau, a unique glacial amphitheatre hidden deep in Mt Aspiring National Park.

Approach Milford Sound via Mt Tutoko, soaring above the dramatic Donne and Age Glaciers.

Enjoy a sweeping overflight of Milford Sound before returning to Queenstown, passing the Homer Tunnel and Milford Road.

No landing in Milford Sound means more flightseeing and a full day left to enjoy Queenstown; ideal for travelers short on time.
