Air Milford is excited to be connecting with all three Fiordland Great Walks from 2022/23 Summer.
Walking the Kepler, Routeburn or Milford Track are on the bucket list for many. What better way to top off your Great Walks hiking adventure with a scenic flight back over it, to revisit where you’ve come from and what you have achieved!
Air Milford is the only operator to exclusively offer flight connections in partnership with DOC and Trips & Tramps either to begin or to end your Great Walk. Our Te Anau Downs airstrip is situated on the Milford Road and allows us to offer a direct service to begin any of these great walks.
Note: Pre track briefing at a DOC office is no longer a requirement. However Air Milford strongly advise that you call ahead to the nearest DOC office for a weather update.
Our Te Anau Downs airstrip is sheltered spot. We are able to operate from there 90% of the time even if the weather is not looking good in Milford.
