Air Milford is the only operator offering exclusive flight connections in partnership with DOC and Trips & Tramps. Our Te Anau Downs airstrip, located directly on the Milford Road, allows hikers to conveniently begin or end any of these iconic tracks.

Pre track briefing at a DOC office is no longer a requirement. However Air Milford strongly advise that you call ahead to the nearest DOC office for a weather update.
While we are unable to organise shuttle transfers to the start of your Great Walk, we can instead assist by referring you to the best coach companies if needed.
Flight time is 35 minutes from Milford Airport
Our Te Anau Downs airstrip is sheltered spot. We are able to operate from there 90% of the time even if the weather is not looking good in Milford.
