Starting October 1st, we officially kick off the new summer season, which brings an increase in Milford Sound cruise schedules to accommodate the influx of visitors. Based on our guest feedback, we’ve enhanced our offerings to ensure your small, intimate experience continues throughout your journey—especially during the cruise component of our Fly-Cruise-Fly packages.
What’s New for Air Milford Summer Flights
From October 2nd, our 11:30am Fly-Cruise-Fly experience will now link with the beautifully refurbished Southern Discoveries Lady Bowen. This stunning monohull vessel features wide windows for spectacular views of the Fiord, along with indoor seating, and outdoor viewing decks. With a cap of just 99 passengers, the Lady Bowen promises a comfortable and personalised cruise experience in Milford Sound.
And starting December 1st, our 9:30am Fly-Cruise-Fly package will connect with Southern Discoveries newest and most intimate vessel, the Lady Stirling. Exclusively reserved for Air Milford guests and a limited number of FIT travellers, this VIP vessel is capped at only 48 passengers—ensuring a private, tailored experience for those seeking something truly special.
Please note: While we aim to offer the Lady Stirling and Lady Bowen experiences on as many dates as possible, some dates may already be prebooked. In such cases, we will cruise aboard the Spirit of Milford, with reserved seating exclusively for Air Milford guests.
